1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the PassportSnap mobile application ("App") provided by AMLabs Studio ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms apply to all users of the App, including users of the free version and PassportSnap Pro subscribers.

2. Description of Service

PassportSnap is a mobile application that enables users to take and process passport-style photos on their personal devices. The App provides:

• Guided camera capture with face alignment assistance
• On-device AI-powered face detection and auto-crop
• Compliance checking against government specifications for supported countries
• 4×6 inch print layout generation
• Photo export and sharing functionality

3. No Guarantee of Official Acceptance

Photo acceptance is at the sole discretion of the relevant government authority. Requirements may change without notice. We recommend:

• Verifying current requirements with the official government authority before submission
• Reviewing your photo for compliance before printing or submitting
• Having a professional photographer as a backup option for critical applications

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Use the App to create fraudulent identity documents or to impersonate another person
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair our systems
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels in the App
• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

5. Intellectual Property

The App, including its source code, design, graphics, features, and content, is owned by AMLabs Studio and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes subject to these Terms.

6. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

PassportSnap offers an optional Pro upgrade available as a one-time purchase or subscription. All purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) and are subject to their respective terms.

Refunds: All purchases are subject to the refund policies of Apple or Google. We do not control refunds for App Store or Google Play purchases. Please contact Apple Support or Google Play Support for refund requests.

Subscription cancellation: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage subscriptions in your Apple ID or Google account settings.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AMLabs Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Costs or fees arising from rejected passport or visa applications
• Travel delays or cancellations resulting from photo rejection
• Loss of data or photos
• Any other damages arising from your use or inability to use the App

Our total liability to you for all claims shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

9. Changes to the App and Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any part thereof) at any time with or without notice. We may also update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes to the Terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
